Unbonded prestressed steel strand is mainly used in post-tensioning prestressed system. The difference between unbonded prestressed steel strand and bonded steel strand is that the prestress does not bond with the surrounding concrete, because there is grease and sheath outside. During its work, the steel strand is allowed to slide longitudinally relative to the surrounding concrete, and the preload is transmitted to the concrete by the anchorage. Unbonded steel strands are used for cast-in-place floors of large-span and large bay buildings, prefabricated beams with large loads and other special structures. It has the characteristics of no need to reserve holes, grouting, simple construction, material saving, random bending, etc.
Galvanized steel strand is an iron and steel product composed of multiple steel wires, commonly known as "steel strand". The surface of carbon steel can be added with zinc coating, zinc aluminum alloy coating, aluminum coating, copper coating, epoxy resin coating, etc. as required. The products are widely used in railway electrification transformation and power grid transformation.
Retard-bonded prestressing steel strand
Retard-bonded prestressing steel strand is composed of high-strength prestressed steel strand, sheath with regular transverse and longitudinal ribs, and retard bonding adhesive filled between sheath and prestressed steel strand, which can be gradually cured according to the set time. Before the completion of tensioning, the retard bonding adhesive has fluidity, and the prestressed steel strand can slide freely in the slow bonding adhesive layer, which is as simple and easy as "Unbonded Prestressing". When the tensioning is completed, the retard bonding adhesive is gradually solidified to bond the prestressed steel strand and the sheath. At the same time, the retard bonding adhesive and the sheath are closely "engaged", through the transverse ribs and longitudinal ribs formed together, so that the retard-bonded prestressed steel Stranded wire creates a strong, long-lasting bond with concrete.
Epoxy-coated Prestressing Steel Strand
Epoxy resin coated steel strand is fully coated with epoxy resin coating on the wire gap and surface of high-strength and low relaxation prestressed steel strand, which isolates the steel strand metal from the outside world, and realizes the excellent anti-corrosion and other comprehensive capabilities of the steel strand.
